A very difficult list to deal with - struck me as a very good choice for a 2 list competition, although maybe the Cm commands have too few troop types, which forces the list to fight with the bowmen in all matchups. A few Cv or LH in with the camels might have made it a bit more flexible - or even only taking 10 Cm instead of 12 ?

There ain't a lot you can do with Sassanids because of the minima, but I perhaps felt the Hunnic ally was simply too big (and expensive). 7 would probably do the job just as well - also it might be possible to downgrade more of the Cv to (O), as they then still are decent anti-LH troops. If you could manage to squeeze an elephant into one of the other mounted commands, and fit some Ps or Ax in too..... it'd be 500AP probably!!

Lorenzo Meles championship winning list, as used by Nick Farrell. Bit light on punch for my liking, but if you can co-ordinate the commands you get a high degree of expendability amongst the combat troops for your money. The Arab ally must be a temptation though....

Command 4 - Ostrogoths

Relies almost totally on the charge of the Ostrogoths, but if/once they were gone the army would be emasculated and on its knees - I felt having the main strike force in such a large command (relative to the army size) and with enough "fighting elements" (admittedly including the general) in it to beat it if they died wasn't a good thing - and so it proved, in dramatic fashion.
